OHSU Pilot Project: Free Night and Weekend Parking Available in OHSU’s Rood Family Pavilion

OHSU parking facilities in South Waterfront are incredibly important for ensuring that OHSU can continue to care for its patients. Nearly every day, the OHSU parking facilities are full; a situation that OHSU doesn't foresee changing in the future. However, OHSU's parking facilities are not full at night nor on the weekends. Recognizing neighboring apartments and condominium buildings do not have capacity to serve guests, OHSU is happy to make space available per the following restrictions:

What: Free Evening and Weekend Public Parking in the OHSU Rood Family Pavilion (3410 SW Bond Ave. Map It).

Where:  Rood Family Pavilion, parking floor P3 – P4, enter off SW Whitaker, between SW Bond and SW River Parkway. Do not park in Ronald McDonald House designated stalls (visitors will be towed).

When: Weeknights from 5:30 pm to 7:30 am. Saturdays and Sundays ALL DAY.

Notes: No parking attendant is on duty. Please do not park in other OHSU-owned garages. Non-OHSU use of Rood Family Pavilion parking spaces on weekdays between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm (weekday) will result in parking fees and/or towing.

OHSU considers this a pilot project, as OHSU needs to reserve the right to cancel the program if conflicts arise with its health care delivery.
