New South Waterfront Farmers Market Kicks Off!

2012 marks the first year of the South Waterfront Farmers Market in Elizabeth Caruthers Park! The market will kick off with a fun and festive Opening Day event on June 14, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Opening Day will feature an introduction to our fantastic vendors, free samples and giveaways, live music, and a raffle with great prizes! Market days will continue on Thursdays, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, throughout the summer, ending on September 27.
Rush hour got you down? If you’re an employee in the district, be good to yourself – relax at the market for a few minutes instead! Pick up some fresh, local goodies for dinner before heading home. Residents of the district will enjoy coming home to warm Thursday evenings spent strolling through the park while browsing farm fresh treats. Your leashed and friendly dogs are welcome too!
