Canoe and Kayak

Living in South Waterfront means you’re just minutes from paddling on the Willamette. Plans for the South Waterfront greenway include a light watercraft launch to make canoeing and kayaking easy, but neighborhood paddlers couldn’t wait. They’ve already created a temporary launch next to the Meriwether on Curry Street. If you need to rent a kayak or would like to take a guided tour, take the streetcar 1 stop (or walk) to Portland Kayak at River Place. You can also visit their location just south of the neighborhood at Willamette Park.
