The Ardea

By shifting two halves of a circle, Steve Domreis of GBD Architects, created some of the most dramatic homes in Portland. The Ardea offers five unique living experiences: Penthouse, Tower, Podium and Sidecar homes. The Tower units provide residents with a 270-degree view; like living in an enormous bay window. The Ardea is set to receive LEED Silver certification upon completion. The Garden Plaza will open up one of the neighborhood’s most beautiful green spaces to residents. Three ponds in the courtyard will also function as a bioswale, filtering storm water and providing a source of non-potable water for the watering of the plaza trees and plants.
