TBA Festival 08: Sojourn Theatre: BUILT

September 5, 2008

How is community created? Who is served by development? What are the ethics of urban planning in complex, economically stratified cities? What do people want from the place where they live? BUILT explores the vastly complex journeys that have made US cities what they are today: the daily personal, civic and economic choices that determine how contemporary cities function, and how people and institutions imagine the future of cities and communities. Sojourn blends performance and dialogue in this site-responsive participatory performance set in the heart of Portland’s emerging South Waterfront district.

This event is free, however seating is limited and TBA Festival Passes are required, to get a Festival Pass please visit: www.pica.org.

Location: Discovery Center, 0680 SW Bancroft | 4:30 – 5:45 pm | Public Welcome
