SWF Community Garden: Meeting and Sign-Up

As winter melts away into spring it’s time to begin planning our plots in the South Waterfront Community Garden. Last year the beds filled up quickly, so please be sure to fill out your application and return it to the Community Relations office as early as possible. Garden plot applications are available in each building at the concierge desk. Completed applications and checks can be turned in at the Community Relations office, Atwater Townhome #115, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Also four members of the Multnomah Chapter of the Master Gardeners group will visit the Garden Meeting on March 16 to speak about starting the new gardens for 2010. They will speak on the following topics: soil, seeds, maintenance and secession. They’ll give a short presentation with plenty of time for questions and answers. This is open to new and returning gardeners. Applications for garden plots available at the event.
