South Waterfront Architecture Series

To ensure aesthetic diversity in South Waterfront, a number of local, nationally-recognized architects were selected to design the area’s buildings. From Thomas Hacker’s soulful modernism, to Robert Thompson’s modern obelisk and Steve Domreis’s sleek curves, these architects have contributed their visions to the neighborhood, creating a rich experience. All of the designs share the common goal of preventing urban sprawl by concentrating resources and minimizing impact on the land through the reduced footprint of high rise buildings.
